Funny Girls Venue
In 2002 Basil Newby (In the Pink Leisure owner) moved the Funny Girls from Queens Road to what was the old Odeon cinema on Dickson Road. To transform the old cinema into the beautiful art deco venue basil spent £2 million. It was opened by Joan Collins who declared that ´This venue is unbelievable, incredibly glamorous and gorgeous. I have never been to Blackpool before, but this venue could show London a thing or two´.
The venue has a stage, behind the main bar, a huge standing area and the elevated waitress served booths. This is a hugely popular show especially at weekends. So book early to ensure admission.
